High temperature heat pumps use a secondary refrigeration circuit with a different refrigerant in order to raise the water temperature from the standard 40-45°C to 70°C. This is great for high temperature heating and Domestic Hot Water, but the high temperature heat pumps generally do not offer cooling options.
